We spent a week and a half in Milwaukee, WI visiting Chris's mom's side of the family with a special visit from Chris's dad's sister and her husband from Canada too! We had a really fabulous time. All of the family is very welcoming and made us feel right at home. We did lots of great stuff, ate way too much amazing food and really like the city in general! (Of course, we weren't there in the winter...)
Chris's grandma really enjoyed Finn (her first great-grandchild) and Finn really liked her! He would sit next to her while eating and take a bite, then reach over and hold on to her hand and look at her while he was chewing! Super cute.
Thank you to all the family who welcomed us! We had a great time! A special thank you to Chris's mom, Debbie, who traveled there with us and was a great tour guide/grandma/mother-in-law wrapped into one!
