Thanksgiving!!

Well, the great day of eating and celebrating with family finally arrived. Chris, Finn and I drove to Eugene to spend the weekend with Chris's parents, his siblings, his two aunts on his dad's side, his grandma on his dad's side and his cousin Alika. What a full house!

Mike, Alika and Chris pre-Civil war on Saturday. Oregon won, luckily for the rest of us in the house!
Debbie cuddling with Finn after he woke up from a nap. It's hard on a kid to wake up to 11 people all wanting to play with you! :)

Finn kissing his new friend Bunny with the help of puppet master Joanna.

Finn with Alika. He looks not sure in this photo, but he and Alika had a great time playing chase and making faces.

The oldest bottle of wine that we have ever possessed, given to us a few years ago by the Olsons. A great gift we were saving for a nice occasion. We decided Thanksgiving was it. We opened it, and found out that some bottles of wine should maybe not be left to "age." It wasn't horrible, just had a bitter aftertaste. Well, Alika said he'd send us some more from the winery (which apparently doesn't sell it in stores, only from the winery and on-line, but he lives near there). Sorry Olsons. Our bad. We'll share a new bottle with you guys someday!

That's okay. We actually made the wine in our bathtub and just re-bottled it in fancy packaging. I'm sorry to hear my age-old recipe passed down through the generations of red-necks didn't pan out....

I mean, er, uh, yeah you owe us a nice bottle of wine!
